A lead is a beginning, not an outcome. When a business spends on traffic but responds slowly or inconsistently, the gap after the form can become its biggest growth constraint.
Before adding an AI agent, map the current journey. Which questions come up repeatedly? When does a prospect need a human? Where do enquiries stall? The answers point to a workflow worth improving.
Then build a small assistant with a narrow job: acknowledge the enquiry, answer approved questions, collect the details a salesperson needs and hand off clearly. Measure response time and lead quality alongside volume.
The useful question is not “Where can we add AI?” It is “Which delay or repeated task is costing us a real opportunity?”
